Lucrecia y su magnífico Album de Cuba nominados a los Latin Grammy.

LUCRECIA, “ALBUM DE CUBA“NOMINATED FOR LATIN GRAMMY®

FOR BEST CONTEMPORARY TROPICAL ALBUM

MIAMI (September 8, 2010) - One of the most versatile Latin female vocalists before the public today, Lucrecia’s performances are characterized by her intense, high energy in the tropical genre and her refined musicality in her interpretations of boleros, jazz and feeling.

Lucrecia’s range encompasses a wide spectrum including Latin, jazz, pop and electronic music.  She has collaborated with such artists as Celia Cruz,  Andy Garcia, Paquito D’Rivera, Chavela Vargas, Albita, Chano Dominguez, and Patato Valdes, among others.

The golden age of Cuban songs is lovingly recreated in “Album de Cuba.” First an internationally acclaimed CD and now a sizzling concert tour, “Album de Cuba” is the latest project from Cuban singer Lucrecia, one of today’s  most exciting artists performing “música tropical,”  in the great tradition of  Celia Cruz. Backed by a period-perfect big band, Lucrecia sings a seductive collection of beloved classics including “Siboney,” “Guantanamera,” “El Manisero,” and many more with a voice that is  intensely romantic and a style marked by surprising versatility.

So far, Lucrecia’s musical adventure has taken her from her native Cuba to Spain, where she now resides. Her new show—filled with luscious boleros and hip-swiveling dance tunes—will take us to an era when Cuban songs were on every country’s hit parade and sung by artists throughout the world.

Nominated for a Latin GRAMMY® along with Lucrecia for Best Contemporary Tropical Album are Juan Luis Guerra, Prince Royce and Johnny Ventura.

  3. ADEMAS DE SER MI AMIGA PERSONAL , CREO QUE SE LO MERECE A TRABAJADO MUY DURO Y ES HORA DE RECOJER LOS FRUTOS. FELICIDADES HERMANA POR HACERNOS RECORRER CON ESE DISCO POR LAS CALLES DE NUESTRA CUBA.
